It can hold 3 times more liquid compared to regular pads or tampons. Depending on the flow intensity, it can be worn for a maximum of up to 4-6 hours for heavy flow, 8-10 hours for medium flow, and up to 12 hours for lighter flow.

You do not need to sterilize it, but you can do it between menstrual cycles or if you have recently had a yeast infection or any other type of vaginal infection.
Follow any of the options we propose below to correctly fold your menstrual cup and ensure that it is completely open inside your body, producing a vacuum against the vaginal walls and thus preventing any leakages.
1- Position yourself comfortably with your legs open. Slightly separate the vaginal lips with one hand whilst slowly inserting the cup with the other, keeping it folded until it slides completely inside the vagina. To ensure a comfortable use, check that the cup is fully open.
2- It is important that the cup makes a vacuum inside your body because if not, you could super leakages of menstrual flow, so, once placed, insert one finger and run it along the edge of the cup to ensure that it has opened correctly, or pull the stem slightly outwards: if it is well placed, it will not move.
